Unity ID
Your primary account at NC State consists of your Unity ID and password. This will grant you access to a majority of resources on campus, including MyPack Portal, class registration, online voicemail, email, and wireless internet.

• Your Unity ID is unique to you and will never be reused after you leave NC State.
• Your Unity ID is automatically generated and cannot be changed, but an alias can be created. Learn more by visiting Email Alias.

Other Accounts
Depending on your job responsibilities, you may need access to other accounts for specific college, department, or application use. Talk with your supervisor and local IT staff to find out what you need and how to gain access.
